How to Import and Export CSV Files Using PHP and MongoDB

As we know that simple lightweight MONGODB is one of the most popular or simple database.Here we are learn to more information about the MONGODB simple IMPORT i.e importing a data using a CSV file JSON file or TSV file into the MONGODB database.

We have simple tested this CMD to command on LINUX-UBUNTU OS System.

 Here I am information the two some methods for simple way to  importing the DATA .
First 1: Import the complete file Database.
Second 2: Import the single file collection data.

First Way 1: Import the complete Database

We have taken all the descriptions as same except file data the file name i.e live24u.json. So here display is the correct mongorestore syntax.

mongorestore -d [Here_databaseName] [your_dump_dir]

We need to Add the some value of mongorestore database name and simple dump folder.
Suppose simple your here example database Name = ‘live24u’ and dump folder path = /home/live24u/Document/dumpDB
then simple CMD run this command is used –

mongorestore -d live24u /home/live24u/Document/dumpDB

Second way 2: Import the single file collection data

For some data importing the single data file collection,you need to follow simple this syntax.

mongoimport --host= -d yourdbname -c livecollectionName --type csv/json/tsv --file yourfilename.csv --headerline

Command used :

mongoimport --host= -d live24u -c secure --type csv --file live24u.csv --headerline

Import the json file into MongoDB Example

mongoimport --host= -d live24u -c secure --type json --file live24u.json --headerline
